Is TaiG Safe To Jailbreak iOS 8.1.1? The Shocking Truth Revealed!
Is The iOS 8.1.1 TaiG Jailbreak Safe? The Shocking Truth Revealed - While it doesn’t happen often, the emergence of a new jailbreak (especially from a relatively new team) to the previously sparse jailbreak scene will never fail to prompt questions surrounding said jailbreak’s legitimacy. The recent TaiG 8.1.1 jailbreak utility is no exception - while the group does have a history in the world of jailbreaking (they attempted to fund the evad3rs for creating evasi0n7 last year), it’s a rather tainted one, as the group promised to pay the evad3rs for bundling a questionable third-party software distribution platform for Chinese-based devices into the evasi0n jailbreak tool itself. Ultimately, after having been scrutinized by the public for perpetuating what the team had publicly stated they were against (the taboo topic that is app piracy, which we’re entirely against at Evasi0n Jailbreak by the way), the team rejected TaiG’s funds and pulled the aforementioned distribution platform from their utility. Following said sequence of events, TaiG had all but disappeared from the jailbreak scene, until now - the group took the community by storm by releasing an all-new, out-of-the-blue utility of their own to jailbreak 8.1.1 completely Untethered for all iDevices; but is it safe? Find out after the break!
Untethered 8.1.1 TaiG Jailbreak - Is It Safe And Should I Use TaiG?
A lot has changed since last year, jailbreaks from US and European-based Dev Teams (i.e. the evad3rs) have all but been replaced by the foreign and somewhat uncertain, seen as “sketchy” in the eyes of many, Chinese-based iOS 7 and iOS 8 jailbreak solutions that are the byproduct of an ‘unofficial app trade,’ for lack of the more appropriate term.
Moreover, in what can only be seen as the height of hypocrisy in retrospect, the same jailbreakers who previously frowned on the entire concept of a jailbreak being born for the sole purpose of monetary gain are now using just that to achieve an Untethered jailbreak on their iPhone, iPod touch and iPad models.
But in the murky territory that’s now becoming the ‘norm’ with each new jailbreak, one question continues to shine through the cloud of moral uncertainty: “is it safe?”. Thankfully, we have our answer for the brand new TaiG iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak tool, also referred to as TaiGJBreak iOS 8!
Untethered 8.1.1 Jailbreak Tutorial via TaiG, It’s As Safe As We’ll Get!
iCrackUriDevice’s Untethered jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 video tutorial - we recommend watching it while reading through our comprehensive written guide.
According to MuscleNerd, the primary public figure of those who are quickly becoming the quondam kings of jailbreaking: the evad3rs, TaiG is safe.
In fact, the new TaiG jailbreak is so safe that the hacker not only states that the Untether package (the portion of the jailbreak that enables a device to reboot without the assistance of a computer, while enabling root access for the use of third-party tweaks - in essence, the very foundation of a jailbreak) is “much more transparent than Pangu,” but also recommends that jailbreakers on 8.1 upgrade to iOS 8.1.1 and utilize TaiG to re-jailbreak!
TaiG’s Really Safer Than Pangu, What About The Log File?
In a series of updates, MuscleNerd reported his findings after having investigated the new 8.1.1 TaiG Jailbreak over the past two days. To summarize, the tool contains “nothing too unsettling” and that it merely features “some light device fingerprinting”. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, MuscleNerd went on to elaborate that TaiG simply creats an empty log file on a PC, in addition to the exe (program) file - from there “when you run the tool it’ll log the urls accessed in a log/<timestamp>.log file”.
In other words, nothing malicious will occur when utilizing TaiG, at all. MuscleNerd even gave one jailbreaker a quick example and commented the following: “nothing outlandish”.
So there you have it, not only can you avoid installing the unwanted distribution platform (by following our new jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 guide), but TaiG is 100% safe and it’s even more transparent than Pangu!
For those of you who have yet to utilize TaiG to jailbreak 8.1.1 or Pangu to jailbreak iOS 8 through 8.1 completely Untethered, we recommend following said guides, as they’ll ensure the success of your jailbreak.
Furthermore, if you want to follow MuscleNerd’s advice and upgrade to 8.1.1 with the intent of jailbreaking via TaiG, keep your browsers locked to Evasi0n Jailbreak for a thorough upgrade guide.

Running TaiG on iPad 4… Installed Springtomize App as a priority and all is very well….. I had no choice as I installed an app I didn’t actually need on iOS 7 Jailbreak with Pangu and was stuck in Safe Mode loop. Full restore took me to iOS 8.1.1. Took the plunge (I can’t live without Jailbreak) Very Pleased so far…!
Would be nice if we could know that this JB breaks popular apps like Music Box, before we get stuck in a higher IOS… Seems sketchy

I was having random “safe mode” crashes on pangu8 on my iPod 5th gen and iPhone 6. I have updated my iPod to taiG and have to say it seems a lot more smooth and so far no crashes. I guess I will doing my iPhone 6 tonight after work!????
I have been a jailbreaker since the beginning, and since the 8.x releases, I have stayed unbroken. Until critical apps (for me) like Protect My Privacy, CallRecorder, BiteSMS, and a few others are updated, I am going to wait
Seriously, stop with these disappointing Titles! It’s save, thats the bottom line… And thats not a “shocking Truth”

My iPhone 6 Plus was freezing and re-booting on Pangu Jailbreak. I updated to iOS 8.1.1, backed up my 6 Plus to my computer, then restored it. I used TaiG to Jailbreak my 6 Plus. Now it works better than ever:-)
How do u do it?!!!?.

Is Mac available yet
What’s this 8.2 jailbreable.
I’m running 2 iPhone 5s on 8.1 and one 5s on 7.1.2 all jail broken through pangu and they run fine. Should I stick with what I have or restore update and go through taiG????
Also have an iPod touch 5th gen on 7.0.4 that runs slow. If I update it will it speed it up???

http://www.evasi0njailbreak.com/download-evasi0n/taig.html
I just did the new update & jb with this new 1 & today took 4ever for my phone to completely charge from 0% & it’s still not 100% from this morning
Reboot once and try. It’s not coz of taiG tool. My 5s is working very smooth
I did reboot earlier a few times actually. I have 6+ I even charged with the phone off. I’m gonna keep a eye on it
I’m good on 8.1 don’t think I need to upgrade. This jailbreak simply unpatches the patch. 8.1.1 is a security patch and this just cracks that patch. Or am I missing something?
Let me know when you know.
what issues are people facing with 8.1? to me I think it’s perfectly fine?
It’s perfectly fine on 5s well done
Appsync for ios8 not workinh
Where I Can Download TaiG ?
http://www.evasi0njailbreak.com/download-evasi0n/taig.html
Nice
TaiG is safe. That is the bottom line in this story. Yes you can jailbreak 8.1.1
I did this 2 days ago. Running smoothly without issues and Musclenerd tested and said it was safe.
It’s better then pangu, my iPad 4 was laggy on iOS 8.1 jailbroken, I updated to 8.1.1 and jailbreak with that new utility….much more easy and smooth process.
Part of that likely has to do with the bugs that were addressed in 8.1.1.
I have jailbreak 8.1.1 and it working better then pengu.its already more than 24 H and it’s running very smoothly. TaiG is best.
So can you jailbreak 8.1.1 now ?
Yes!
Thank you so much can I get it from you’re site
