Pangu Jailbreaks iOS 8.4.1 Untethered at HackPwn 2015 - Last week, Apple released iOS 8.4.1 to the public, effectively patching the latest TaiG Untethered iOS 8.4 jailbreak utility. However, unlike iOS 8.1.3 (being the last jailbreak-patching firmware), iOS 8.4.1’s impact on jailbreaking extends far beyond the latest jailbreak. When Apple issued 8.4.1 the company did so with security at the forefront of their intentions - e.g. iOS 8.4.1 closed not only vulnerabilities exploited by TaiG for 8.4, but also several utilized by former Pangu and evasi0n jailbreak tools that the company left unattended until now.
