Yesterday was, without a doubt, one of the most exciting days for Apple enthusiasts in quite some time - Apple held their annual iPhone event where both the next-generation iPhone 5S and the slightly lower-cost iPhone 5C were unveiled for the first time. On September 18th, Apple will make iOS 7 widely available to the general public, but yesterday the company released iOS 7 GM (the finalized version of 7.0 that will eventually find its way to the iPhones, iPads and iPod touches of millions).
The primary reason iOS 7.0 Gold Master (GM) is so important is because the evad3rs (the latest and greatest Dev Team - the guys responsible for evasi0n) can now focus their efforts on developing a new Untethered iOS 7 jailbreak.

That’s old news and easy for anyone that does his research. Problem is downgrading newer hardware such as the iPod 5th gen, IPad 3, and iPhone 5s and newer. The only thing that gets me to post in here is people making jb demands and asking questions that are already answered in the main blog post. I am sorry that you are mentally ill. To avoid being picked on in the future, learn from this blog experience. Read the entire blog, do some research before making any statements or demands. Make it a point to describe your misunderstanding from what you have read so others can elaborate for you. Robert is a piece of work. He is jobless from his own admission and although answers to his questions have been answered numerous times in this blog and in replies on this blog, he keeps asking the same questions. I’m starting to think he is mentally ill living in a low income mental health housing community. If he wanted to work there are jobs. His priorities are messed up based on the amount of time he spends here, he should be focused on finding a job unless he doesn’t want one. As I stated in another post, I work in security and it doesn’t pay much but at least it’s a job and every security guard company is hiring with a huge turn over because shitbags don’t know how to be honest and do their job unsupervised. I’ve thought about that and I’m thinking that the 64bit won’t be a problem. It’s first generation 64bit and they had to build 32bit versions of ios 7 so I don’t think they really spent a lot of time with 64bit and 32bit, I’m willing to suggest that it’s more like the first generation of 64bit windows how 64bit was just an afterthought for the first processors and oses.
With iOS 7 as different as it is, I can’t wait to see how my favorite tweaks look with it. This is exciting because it’s like a clean slate that will bring out even more creativity out of devs and modders.
Nico, Sorry bro there isn’t a jailbreak for ios 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 ios 7 hasn’t been released yet but we know it will on Sep18. The jail breaking community has been working feverishly to ensure an ios 7 jailbreak. If the exploit is revealed before apple releases the new ios 7, it wouldn’t take apple long to patch the exploit before ios 7 is even released. There is a method to these guy’s and it won’t be long after 18-Sep that you will have a jailbreak for your 6.1.3/6.1.4 device. Hang in there.
JOHNNYB, have you seen the so called 6.1.3/6.1.4 jailbreak being offered over Facebook on a page called “iOS 6.1.3/4 jailbreak evasi0n”. They claim to have a jailbreak. They say if you “like” them and comment then they’ll send you some link and at the same time they show you the website to get the download. Last I looked it was close to 47k “likes”. I wonder what the download does to you device? Have y’all seen or heard about this?

OK let’s take a look at this situation. Any JB is good news. I’m a cancer patient, I have a type of incurable cancer and use my IPod Touch 4 for that purpose. Spending tons of time at the Hospital. That being said I just can’t afford a new one. Now for the developers, Instead of giving away a new JB for iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 why not charge for that JB say a few bucks, so all the people that want it can get it for a buck or two and that way we show our support to the developers and they get paid and laid for all the hard work and sleepless nights. Yesterday my 4S (I had ios 7 beta 4) went down! I got an activation message and after that I could’nt make it work. I tried to restore it to 6.1.3 again but itunes didn’t recognize it! What can I do? Thanks for tips!

They already can untether iOS 6.1.3-6.1.4, but they were saving exploits to use with the iOS 7 jailbreak so they wouldn’t have to start from scratch. Multiple exploits were probably patched in iOS 7 but of course with any new redesign of software and addition of features. They could easily have multiple more usable exploits. With the previous exploits, Im sure it will be backward compatible all the way to 6.1.3, BUT it won’t come out until the same time as the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak. Your best bet is to just having a semi-tethered jailbreak until then.
