While Apple Allows Pangu Jailbreak 7.1.2 Utility to Exist, The 7.1.3 Jailbreak Patch is Imminent - Today, the staff of Evasi0n Jailbreak opted to address a topic related to not only the UnTethered Pangu jailbreak 7.1.2 utility for all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, but also to Apple’s forthcoming iOS 7.1.3 jailbreak patching firmware. Although it’s certainly an ideal time to enter the world of jailbreaking, as Pangu remains capable of fully jailbreaking Apple’s latest public firmware, (iOS 7.1.2) that doesn’t mean this ideal situation will last; 7.1.3 will indubitably patch the jailbreak 7.1.2 utility, it’s merely a matter of time. With that being said, why is it that Apple seemingly gives jailbreakers ample opportunity to jailbreak certain firmwares, as was the case with iOS 6 through 6.1.2 (the original evasi0n utility) and iOS 7 through 7.0.6 (the evasi0n7 tool, prior to Pangu’s release for 7.1.x), but not others like the now-ancient JailbreakMe web-based solutions, which were patched in a matter of days? Essentially, as we alluded to in a recent article that briefly overlapped with today’s topic, Apple values jailbreakers as a vital part of the iOS ecosystem, most of the time.
Now before instantly jumping to conclusions regarding jailbreaking and Apple’s outlook on the process, there are several important points that must be understood.
First and foremost, Apple is a multi-billion dollar company that could easily thwart the efforts of hackers and squash the bugs that certain utilities, such as Pangu, utilize with new jailbreak-patching firmwares in days, not weeks or month.
It’s by choice that Apple hasn’t patched the Pangu jailbreak and took their time with multiple iterations of iOS 6 and iOS 7 before patching evasi0n and evasi0n7, respectively. If threatened, which has been the case with the browser-based JailbreakMe solutions, Apple has proven themselves by taking action immediately - it merely took periods of a few short days for the JailbreakMe tools to be patched.
So why was Apple so adamant about patching JailbreakMe when they’re more lenient when it comes to other utilities? To answer that question as simply as possible: JailbreakMe was a tool that functions on a device inside of Safari itself that delivered an incredibly powerful userland exploit by way of a PDF vulnerability, which left iOS extremely vulnerable - therefore, the patch was deemed urgent.
Moreover, looking back to the days before evasi0n, an amazing jailbreak utility by the name of Absinthe 2 from the quondam Chronic Dev Team was issued for iOS 5.1.1, which remained unpatched for months until Apple released 6.0 to the public.
This favoritism towards certain jailbreak solutions all but confirms that Apple recognizes jailbreakers as valued Apple customers and likely realizes that said jailbreakers’ purchase of new devices is contingent upon jailbreaking and allows certain utilities to exist long beyond the time it would actually take the company to patch them, so long as it’s on their terms.
However, as a reminder, don’t become too comfortable with the iOS 7.1.2 jailbreak situation, take advantage of this current opportunity to jailbreak Apple’s latest public firmware if you have yet to - we strongly advise following our in-depth Pangu jailbreak 7.1.2 UnTethered tutorial.

Hello was just wondering if I’m doing something wrong I have an iPhone 4s with the 7.0.4 iOS and when I go to jailbreak it. It seems like the jailbreak goes through but when I reboot the phone the evasion app is still there with no Cidia to be found
I used pangu on iphone 4s, ipad 3 and only on ipad 3 for the first time i had problem. But after that i went to recover mode and installed os7.1.2 completely in clean ipad and used pangu then all problems solved and after that i did not get any problem.
Can someone please give me the blue-ones.key for air blue sharing
Can someone please give me the blue-ones.key for air blue sharing because I don’t want to use repos
Gotta Iove how many people are just so damn stupid. If people say that there phones broke because pangu made it die shouldn’t be around to operate any tech. People are so fast to say it was pangu but not that they did anything wrong. Like how many times people try jb a phone that was updated OTA and not a fresh restore. Or how many times people say they updated and lost there jailbreak when it won’t let you update if your jb already. So people really need to read up on stuff before they call out a developer and say it’s not there fault there phone broke. I think 9 of 10 people are so damn ignorant and won’t take responsiblity for them being ignorant and impatient.
Works perfect on my 5s
lols i will even bed my head that pangu is faster with the jailbreak then apple can release ;D
Pangu took a while to take on my iPhone 5, 4 tries. Too glitchy to be trusted in my estimation.

So I used Pangu to jailbreak. Updated a tweak and now my phone won’t restore or update to the new iOS. How can I fix this?
Some reason had to do my 5c twice 4s worked one try
Made sure I already did it lol
Jailbreak evasion….more like pangu evasion !!!
There’s something special planned for iOS 8 😉
Well at the moment pangu is all over the place but i rather go with the jailbreak evasion team !!!!but I have to admit pangu are impressive right now !!!
Something special…..a fusion between pangu and evad3rs….. Lol
LoL ! Why u no Name it .. Pangu Evasion .. LoL
It really didn’t matter whose Jailbreak I used Pangu or Evasion, they both constantly crash the phone under iOS 7. I’m hopeful that we get back full functionality under iOS 8. I really miss 6.1.1 which was rock solid and worked with all my apps. I’m most missing AutoResponder which was great for while I was at work or otherwise away.
Good to hear, I’m on ios8 beta 4 right now, it’s a pretty good improvement over ios7
