6.0.1, Jailbreak 6.1 UnTethered details
As with the current public version of iOS, 6.0.1, there isn’t an UnTethered jailbreak utility available for either of Apple’s latest firmware. For now, the latest iOS 6 jailbreak is in the form of a Tethered version of Redsn0w that can be made to work for 6.0.1 with a simple workaround.
If the Dev Teams device to wait until Apple officially releases 6.1 to the public before pushing out an UnTethered jailbreak utility, it’s likely that the iOS community won’t see a jailbreak for 6.0.1 - aside from the Tethered, A4-only Redsn0w jailbreak.
As of now, the latest information regarding the status of the UnTethered 6.0.1 jailbreak can be found on our in-depth iOS 6 UnTethered and Tethered guide.
