Responseto commentor Jeremy: Regarding professional needs requring a jailbroken device I want to remind you IOS devices with 8.12 do sell on ebay, even new sometimes. Alternatively just creste it… I am an Android developer and I use 40 dollar droid tablets to solve things. Some copy/paste java and with thd netbeans ide is so easy anyone can custom write software. I use Eclipse IDE but Netbeans is visual.. GL
It has gotten to the point that I don’t think it is worth the money or the effort to wait for a jailbreak. It is possible that if I buy a new device, iPhone 6+ or an iPad that I may never be able to be current as it relates to jailbreaking. This is a real waste of energy and after owning an iPhone, since its inception that I may finally give in and get an Android. I’m tired of all of the games and Apples BS.

Argh. I hope Apple sees this. I have professional need for certain features only available via Cydia. OTH security flies out the window when you jailbreak. Apple needs to get its act together by allowing users to take some security risks using unapproved apps; hiring people who find IOS exploits, and stopping this cat and mouse nonsense. My next portable will not be an Apple. It will boot EXT4, have two USB 3.0 ports, a keyboard with CTl-C, and I will set root password out of the gate. I hate having to troll this space just to keep my IPAD working. What rubbish. BTW, big thanks to those exploit searchers who put out the effort to make IOS more useful.

iOS 9 will be released to the public when the next gen iPhones arrive. 8.4 should get released tomorrow and if your a developer you will be able to get access to iOS 9 beta versions.
