iOS 8 Jailbreak 7.1.2 Patch, Jailbreak iOS 8 and the iPhone 6 - Today, as with every day since iOS 8’s unveiling over two months ago, the public release of Apple’s next major mobile operating system installment draws closer. While the features and developer API offerings in iOS 8 are indeed welcome additions to the iOS ecosystem, the update also confirms the impending patch of the Pangu 7.1.2 jailbreak utility - meaning it won’t be possible to jailbreak iOS 8 through the use of Pangu. However, shouldn’t there be a step between 7.1.2 and iOS 8 to correct the various issues (most of which can be found detailed here) that users are experiencing with 7.1.x? One would think. Furthermore, if 7.1.3 isn’t released to patch the jailbreak, as well as the aforementioned complications with 7.1.x, that would mean Pangu will go unpatched until iOS 8.0, which is a scenario that hasn’t occurred since Apple left the Absinthe 2 5.1.1 jailbreak unpatched until iOS 6 went public. Indeed we’re in an interesting period for jailbreaking - thankfully, it remains possible to jailbreak 7.1.2 (the latest public firmware) on all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models. But what of iOS 8? Millions of iDevice owners will not only be eager to jailbreak Apple’s forthcoming major mobile firmware, but also the upcoming iPhone 6, both of which will likely be available in September.
As alluded to above, iOS 8 will introduce a plethora of new and exciting features, including Continuity (to further bridge the gap between iOS and OS X) actionable notifications, quick contacts for multitasking, a number of exciting new Developer APIs and much more.
Imagine an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with all of the above improvements, on iOS 8, fully jailbroken Untethered - that would be quite a potent and desired mix. However, in order for that to come to fruition, a jailbreak would first need to be created which, as we’ve highlighted numerous times, is no easy task.
So is anyone working on developing an iOS 8 jailbreak? Thankfully, the answer is an incredible ‘yes’! As iOS hacker and security researcher Stefan Esser (better known as i0n1c) mentioned prior to Pangu’s release, “iOS 8 jailbreak will be a bloodbath” because, according to the hacker, “at least 2 or 3 groups financed by Chinese companies racing for release,” one of which likely being the Pangu Team.
Also, the Chinese teams that will undoubtedly be competing to release the next UnTethered jailbreak will also likely be going up against the evad3rs, the iOS jailbreak “Dream Team”.
While an iOS 8 jailbreak is indeed on the horizon, it doesn’t mean that a utility will be released immediately following iOS 8’s availability to the public. We’ll share additional information concerning the next jailbreak’s release in a subsequent article at a later date.

I agree with i0n1c, only because I’ve had a personal working jailbreak on every iOS 8 beta so far. The only thing wrong with my jailbreak is a couple of I solved glitches. And, as probably guessed by most, a rare amount of packages are currently compatible with iOS 8.
Wait to jb til ios 8.0.3 so u don’t burn the jb with bug update patches
I said wait til 8.0.3 to jb ios 8 so bugs are fixed and to not waste a great jb

Honestly the jailbreak should wait to be released till 8.0.2 or higher just because apple being apple there is bound to be bugs and glitches withing the first iOS release and jail breaking the first release would be pointless if there is any bugs cause apple will be releasing software updates to patch these bugs and, although not guaranteed, the software could patch the jailbreak rendering the exploits useless. ( I say not guarenteed because of iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak was not patched by 7.1.2)
You guys should not release the iOS 8 untethered jailbreak until like iOS 8.0.2 or 8.0.3 or a month or two after iOS 8 is released because apple could patch it really quickily.
To be specific, you’re only asking if we think you should offer an iPhone unlock service and not necessarily a free service that I think a lot of people might be expecting, am I correct?
