Jailbreak 8.2 Untethered After Updating from iOS 8.1.3 to Jailbreak iPhone 6 Plus and iPad - Today, as the public eagerly awaits a tool to jailbreak iOS 8.1.3 and later, TaiG just updated their TaiGJBreak (more commonly referred to as simply TaiG) utility to version 1.3.0. However, the aforementioned update isn’t an iOS 8.1.3 jailbreak, but rather something equally beneficial to those who either mistakenly updated to or who purchased their devices running the iOS 8.1.3 jailbreak-patching firmware: a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 beta 1 and 2! The new update to the wonderful TaiG tool, dubbed TaiGJBreak 1.3.0 for iOS 8 through 8.2 beta 2, is capable of delivering a fluid Untethered jailbreak on 8.2 beta for all iPhone, iPod touch and iPad models. At this point you may be wondering why a tool to jailbreak a beta is so important, as betas are reserved for developers. The answer is incredibly simple, any individual can update their iOS 8.1.3 device to iOS 8.2 using a simple iTunes workaround that will successfully allow restores to the firmware. In other words, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners running iOS 8.1.3 can, in essence, jailbreak by first upgrading to 8.2 beta - don’t worry, we’ll promptly guide you through the entire process in today’s article. For those of you interested in jailbreaking past iOS 8.1.2 on either a Windows-based PC or a Mac, continue reading past the break for complete steps!

Update To iOS 8.2 Beta To Jailbreak 8.1.3 iOS Devices
Before rushing into the Untethered iOS 8.2 jailbreak portion of this tutorial, you’ll first need to update your device from iOS 8.1.3 (or whichever firmware it’s running, though it’s recommended that you follow this guide instead if you’re on iOS 8.1.2 or earlier) to iOS 8.2 beta 1 or beta 2.
Step 1. In addition to downloading the corresponding jailbreak utility for your computer, you’ll need to obtain either the correct iOS 8.2 beta 1 or beta 2 IPSW for your device.
Step 2. After having downloaded iOS 8.2 beta, plug your device into your computer via a standard lightning (or 30-pin if you own an older iPhone 4s or iPad 2) USB cable and launch iTunes.
Step 3. Navigate to the device portion of the program, hold the Shift key on your keyboard if you’re on Windows or the Alt key if you’re on Mac OS X, left click “Check for Update,” browse for your device’s proper iOS 8.2 beta IPSW and click through the prompts to update.
Allow the process to finish, uninterrupted, and only then can you proceed with the second set of steps outlined in today’s tutorial to jailbreak iOS 8.2 Untethered!
iOS 8.2 Jailbreak Tutorial: All Devices On iOS 8.2 - Video Guide
Step 1. After having downloaded the updated TaiG 1.3 (TaiGJBreak 1.3.0) tool or the PP for Mac utility, prepare to launch either of said tools.
Step 2. With your device still plugged in, verify that you’ve successfully disabled both Find my iDevice (it will either be dubbed ‘Find my iPhone’, ‘Find my iPod’ or ‘Find my iPad’ depending on your device) and Passcode, enter Airplane mode and open one of the aforementioned tools and uncheck the bottom box to ensure that you don’t install the bundled third-party Chinese distribution software.
Step 3. Click the large button in either TaiG 1.3.0 or PP (you may be required to continue past one more quick screen) to proceed with the jailbreak iOS 8.2 post 8.1.3 process.
Step 4. Leave your iPod touch, iPad or iPhone connected to your computer for the entire duration of the jailbreak procedure and refrain from interfacing with it in any capacity. Once the device you upgraded to iOS 8.2 reboots, you’ll be greeted with the both incredible and welcomed sight that is Cydia on your device’s homescreen (Cydia will usually appear on the second second page, provided you have room).
Important Final Step: Once the jailbreak has succeeded, exit Airplane mode, tap into Cydia, let the GUI (graphical user interface) tweak and third-party package platform reorganize the Filesystem on iOS 8.2. It’s crucial that you neither exit Cydia manually nor reboot your device, as either will result in a forced restore.
Congratulations, after having followed a set of easy instructions (totaling just seven easy-to-follow steps), you’ve successfully updated iOS 8.1.3 and jailbroken 8.2 beta on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running the beta firmware!

Apple has stop signing the beta version. so that’s why u’ve got an error.
Unable to install the iOS 8.2 Beta 1 or Beta 2 because I keep getting the error as The iPhone could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (3194) or “This device isn’t eligible for the requested build”
I have tried all the options such as use a Mac, different internet connection and I have tried to download through multiple source but still unable to get to iOS 8.2 Beta 1 or Beta 2
Help needed!!
I tried ISPW but it is not recognized. Trying 8.2 Beta 3 .
Greetings All,
I have downloaded 8.2 Beta !. Beta 2 not available. I understand you need to rename the file but I’m confused. IPSW or ISPW ? Please Help!
It´s not possible to update to 8.2 Beta anymore. Yesterday afternoon I could do it and Jailbreaked successfully. At night Cydia stopped working. I restored my iphone 5S A1457 to 8.1.3 then tried to upgrade to 8.2 again with the same archive and following the same process I did before, but it was not possible. Error 3194. I tried to fix manually the hosts file, reinstall other versions of iTunes, but the error was the same 3194. I think Apple is not allowing (signing) 8.2 version anymore. Anyone had the same problem?
I am currently having the same issue. ugh.
Help please! iPhone 5 (A1428) running iOS 8.2 (12D436) and the TiaG jailbreak tool does not work! It just fails every time!
I had some problems to. Try this:
1. Downgrade Itunes to 12.0.1
2. Fix hosts file
I don’t have the links, but you should find some guides by googling
Still doesn’t work. TaiG stops at 50% through, then it just fails. I’ve downgraded iTunes, fixed hosts file and everything else I could think of. I think it only works on 8.2 beta 2 and not beta 1.
I have did update to iOS 8.2 beta 2 and it went successful … Jailbreaked through taig …. Today morning I wokeup connected my iPad air 2 to iTunes and it said that this software installed is only for developers and I just couldn’t get any menus or anything … So I am stuck with the iPad air 2 8.2 jailbroken and I can’t work with iTunes at all . …. Seems apple found out about the update issue and just closed the thing up…..let me know if anyone got this to work cause I really need to jailbreak again.
