Evasi0n Jailbreak Release Update: iOS 6.1 Evasion Final Count Down Has Begun - Today, only minutes ago, the evad3rs sent their fourth tweet from the official @evad3rs twitter handle pertaining to the Evasi0n Jailbreak. Previously, both MuscleNerd and pod2g hinted that evasion (the forthcoming Untethered jailbreak utility for all iOS devices running either iOS 6, 6.1, 6.0.1 or 6.0.2) would be released sometime after or before this year’s Super Bowl, which commenced today at 3:30 pm Pacific Time.

The tweet below was also retweeted by MuscleNerd: unofficial leader of the iPhone Dev Team and an instrumental member of the evad3rs jailbreak team. While millions of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users have been eagerly and anxiously awaiting a Sunday release that was hinted at last week, it appears as though the release is pushed back until some time tomorrow.
