Top Cydia Tweaks For Evasi0n 7 Jailbreak 7.0.4 In 2014
In addition to reading the list of tweaks below, we advise watching popular iOS YouTuber iCrackUriDevice’s video, which is embedded above, for a visual representation of said list.
- Activator is a common tweak that’s installed as a dependency on nearly every jailbroken device. However, in spite of its popularity, Activator’s incredible functionality is often overlooked. The tweak is capable of setting various triggers (i.e. pinching icons at the home screen) to perform specified tasks such as locking the device, controlling settings/modifying and more.
- f.lux manipulates the temperature of lighter colors on a device at nighttime to cause significantly less eye fatigue and enables “power users” to tweet, text, email and surf the web until the wee hours of the morning.
- Barrel species up your homescreen by adding custom page transitions. In having such a long history as being a “default” tweak, Barrel has made quite a reputation for itself on the jailbreak scene.
- BioProtect is decent, but BioLockDown is even better! Although both tweaks generally provide the same functionality, being an intuitive method for securing apps using biometric fingerprint data, the latter is preferred by the staff of Jailbreak Evasion7 for a number of reasons, all of which can be found in iCrackUriDevice’s dedicated video on the tweak that’s embedded below.
- FlipControlCenter is, without a doubt, the best tweak for modifying stock Control Center. The tweak can be obtained in Cydia by adding the following repo in the “Manage” section: rpetri.ch/repo
- Infiniboard extends iOS’ springboard, vertically! Once the Inifniboard tweak is installed on iOS 7, your device will gain the ability to place and scroll apps vertically, in addition to the traditional horizontal method.
- Infinidock is similar to the previous tweak in the sense that it allows users to place a limitless number of apps in the dock and scroll between them vertically.
- Bloard simply provides a toggle in the Settings app to enable a black keyboard system-wide that, like f.lux, causes significantly less eye strain during nighttime usage.
- MyWi enables bluetooth, wired and Wi-Fi tethering in the best interface available from similar solutions. Moreover, the MyWi 7 app also attempts to conceal usage from carriers in order to prevent the loss of unlimited data plans.
- My3G is a simple tweak from the same developers as MyWi that essentially tricks applications into believing a device is running over Wi-Fi, when in reality it’s connected via cellular data. This is mostly useful to evade (pun definitely intended) various cellular app restrictions, primarily the 100mb download restriction put in place by the App Store.

I have mywi on jailbroke 6.1.2. afraid i will have to pay again if i do the new jailbreak? also, my daughter updated my itunes on computer i sync with. will it still back up when it doesn’t recognize my phone?
No.. you dont need to pay again. All this time I too had 6.1.2 and MyWi 6. I just updated with IOS7 (7.0.4)and jailbroken and installed MyWi 7. It automatically recognised my device and my licence and gave me full app. If you have any doubts about upgrading, please read the “help” on MyWi 6. Hope this helps..

I tried the jailbreak on december 26 exactly 2 days after it cameout with my old 5s on the Evasi0n Unthetered and you know how any device beeps when you connect it to a computer and Itunes detect it well after i pressed on the Evasi0n logo and the phone finish rebooting it never came back it stayed in the Apple frozen i tried the DFU Mode i tried Itunes nothing the phone all it did was flash like a blue light on the screen i had go get a new one i had warranty i like doing the jailbreaks stuff but im afraid is going to happen again but i used my warranty so i got no back now

Thank you for the great jailbreak! I do have a question about battery life. My battery is going much faster since the jailbreak. I can’t figure out what is causing it. I have tried resetting the network connections, but this had no effect.

BUT since the jailbreaking of 3.x.x, not the same feeling of happiness… Problems with safari (before the jailbreak of the stock IOS 7.0.4 IPad3), and less tweaks because of the variety of the processors… Android is not better, i test more than 10 ROMS with my i9505 (and dualboot too!) and developers cannot follow the hardware progress, they did not take enough time to test what they develop.
So frustrating, tomorrow I will have to wait or pay an update to see the true perfomance of my new car, fridge, TV … ?

You on an iPhone 5s? Most of the tweaks on Cydia aren’t compatible due to a 64 bit system. If you’re on a lower one, make sure you’ve updated Cydia substrate (also called mobile substrate) To do that, just refresh sources and then update. If nothing is working, my only thought, restore and rejailbreak. I might be able to help more if you gave a more descriptive problem.
What he meant was surely the sim-lock. So the question remains… how do you remove the simlock from an Jailbroken Iphone ?

But I got one question,
Will the virtual home tweak automatically switch off after about 1-2mins screen lock? After I locked my screen for around 1-2mins, the virtual home tweak seem like not functioning, I have to press my home button to unlock my device.
We were having that issue at first as well. However, there’s a new update. Open Cydia and install it. Once you do, go into the Settings app > VirtualHome and toggle “Enable Quick Unlock” off and then back on. That should fix it! And you’re welcome, thanks for reading!
