It’s Impossible to Jailbreak 7.1 UnTethered, Apple Releases The Update to The Public - Today, ensuing an extraordinarily long testing period, Apple released iOS 7.1 to the general public, effectively patching the evasi0n7 UnTethered jailbreak. In addition to being available for download immediately via iOS’ built-in over-the-air (OTA) update ability, iOS 7.1 can also be downloaded via iTunes - however, jailbroken users should avoid the firmware at all costs. Like we outlined in a previous article, Apple patched numerous vulnerabilities exploited by the evasi0n7 jailbreak utility in the fifth beta iteration of the firmware, rendering the evasi0n7 jailbreak useless on newer firmwares and making it impossible for the public to jailbreak 7.1 Untethered.
Will It Be Possible to Jailbreak 7.1 UnTethered?
As for iOS 7.1 itself, the firmware includes a number of visual “improvements,” such as revised icons for the Phone, Messages and FaceTime apps.
Beyond the immediately noticeable UI (user-interface) changes, iOS 7.1 also offers CarPlay, a new manual control mode for Siri and changes to iTunes Radio, the Calendar app and the Accessibility portion of the settings app.
Unfortunately, for those who wish to maintain their device’s jailbroken state, avoid iOS 7.1 at all costs as the evad3rs won’t release their next UnTethered jailbreak utility to the public until later this year when Apple eventually pushes out both iOS 8 and their next round of iOS-based devices.
Essentially, to summarize, it won’t be possible to jailbreak 7.1 UnTethered for all iDevices.
However, with that said, if you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch that’s on iOS 7.0 through 7.0.6, you can still take advantage of evasi0n7 to jailbreak your device, so long as you avoid updating to iOS 7.1. To jailbreak 7.0.6, we strongly advise following our in-depth evasi0n7 UnTethered tutorial.

Thanks for the support Jailbreakers, we will try develop a Jailbreak for iOS 8 but iOS 7.1 Jailbreak seems impossible at the moment.

Apparently Apple congratulated Evad3rs for pointing out flaws in their system. lol Which is probably why Apple hasn’t blocked their site! Gotta admit by doing so hey’re actually helping Apple become more secure overall!!
i would jb my ios 7.0.4 iphone 4 if OTA JB WAS AVAILABLE ! >.<
Evad3rs cant you guys pleeease do me that favor on jb my iphone OTA please fix that issue PLEASE THATS ALL IM ASKING FOR !
I just read Apple credited the Evad3rs team for discovering and reporting several security flaws. This helped Apple provide the previous 7.0.6 security update. With all of their billions in reserve, why not pay for such great support? Not Apple. Whatever happened to the Steve Jobs promise that Apple’s OS’ would support and thrive the “open source model” of creative developers? Clearly the functionality tweaks provided by jailbreaking is something the public wants. Creative successful guys like the Evad3rs team should be rewarded. We also should be able to load whatever we want onto hardware we pay for.
They would be fools to release a new jailbrek for iOS 7.1 wasting exploits and they know it that’s why you can forget it and stay with 7.0.6, any way 7.1 makes no difference to us jail breakers.
They will soon come out with the jailbreak.
Like they always do. Love the evad3rs.
Just be Evasive……an Apple a day keeps the Evaders at play!
