Shortly after Apple released their newest beta firmware, developers were greeted with great news. The iPhone Dev team has just released RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 as a simple jailbreak for iOS 6 beta. The release was mostly anticipated as news of a potential jailbreak solution spread after Apple’s big wwdc announcement. Unfortunately, the redsnow jailbreak offers limited support for select devices. It’s also important to note that as of now this is a tethered jailbreak and specifically aimed more towards developers and advanced users. The new jailbreak is currently compatible with the following iOS devices : iPhone 4 (GSM and CDMA models) iPhone 3Gs iPod Touch 4th Generation Sadly, the 4s and the new iPad 3 aren’t supported in this release.
