Post iOS 8.3, 8.4 Jailbreak for iOS 9 to be Impossible? iOS 9’s Security - Without a new jailbreak utility since January of 2015, those who regrettably updated to or beyond iOS 8.1.3 (the firmware that patched the TaiG jailbreak) are undoubtedly questioning whether a jailbreak for iOS 8.3 will come into fruition prior to the release of either iOS 8.4 or iOS 9. As we highlighted in a recent post, while TaiG and Pangu have both confirmed that they’ll create a new jailbreak, the groups are faced with an incredibly tough decision: to jailbreak 8.3 or jailbreak 8.4. While the answer may sound obvious to those locked out of a jailbreak, it’s not that simple from a strategic standpoint (explained here). But we’re not going to focus on an iOS 8.3 jailbreak in today’s article, we’re here to talk about something that’s potentially much more dire, iOS 9. Apple’s next major firmware, being iOS 9, will be unveiled to the masses next month during the company’s annual WWDC, or World Wide Developers Conference, and released to developers. While it will certainly be exciting to glimpse the future of iOS, the firmware may very well increase the difficulty of jailbreak development exponentially - for more on a post iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4 jailbreak and iOS 9, continue on past the break.
iOS 9 Post Jailbreak 8.3 Possible? New Security
As the majority of jailbreaks are aware, new jailbreak tools require the exploitation of vulnerabilities within iOS itself to achieve root access and, in turn, install Cydia (the graphical user interface for installing third-party tweaks that rely on Substrate and root access).
Jailbreaking Requires Security Vulnerabilities
While Apple continues to patch vulnerabilities following the release of new jailbreak utilities with updated firmwares, there’s seemingly been a never-ending flow of new vulnerabilities, as each iOS update has the potential to yield exploitable flaws in light of the addition of new features, that could very well change.
iOS 9’s Rumored “Major” Security Improvements
This unquestionably raises a red flag for those who have become a part of the jailbreak scene, developers and users alike. Although Apple has beefed up security a countless number of times throughout the years, iOS 9 is rumored to be almost entirely focused on improving iOS’ overall performance and, now apparently, its security. With each new iteration of iOS, additional challenges arise for jailbreakers and although its too early to definitively state whether iOS 9 may usher in a substantially less enjoyable iOS experience for those who rely on jailbreaks to customize their devices, jailbreaking iOS 9 will almost certainly be more of a challenge than either iOS 8.0 or iOS 8.1.x.
iOS 8.4 And iOS 8.3 Jailbreak?
Furthermore, considering we know for a fact Pangu has new exploits that they’ve been testing on iOS 8.3 for several weeks, now would (almost) be the opportune moment to release a new jailbreak. If iOS 8.4 is the iOS 7.1.x-equivelent release for iOS 8, a potential iOS 8.4 jailbreak could remain unpatched until iOS 9’s release.
However, without a new jailbreak for iOS 8.3, are TaiG and Pangu truly up to the task of jailbreaking iOS 9 when it’s available to the masses this fall? Only time will tell and, as always, we’ll ensure that you’re completely updated; keep your browsers locked to Evasi0n Jailbreak.

Any software can be cracked .. The teams working on this are not really working .. Stop uploading useless videos and articles… So you can make money from YouTube or whatever. When someone will release it than make an article or video.. Until then keep quite because the last 4 videos from this site talk about to same crap..
It’s always the same story->> dont want to release a jailbreak for this version iOS because if we do Apple is just going to patch the exploit in the next iOS blah, blah, blah….. <<— Like come on, do you know how stupid that sounds to the everyday non-hacker jailbreaker? Of course Apples gonna patch it. Thats kind of a given now isnt it? I mean, really. Give me a break. Thats the way its always been, thats the way it always will be. I highly doubt Apples gonna just suddenly quit patching these things. Not ever.
Either your power tripping or you don't have a jailbreak and your bluffing. Show us your cards.
This website is useless. It has gone over 6 months with weekly posts without saying anything relevant or useful to the jailbreak community. the bulk of all their ‘articles’ are “there could possibly maybe could be a jailbreak for ios 8.2, 8.3 or 8.4, but we totally call it won’t be tomorrow”! And then they spend the next article regurgitating their useless information from yesteryear, with a hint of I told you so. Get a grip, and don’t waste everyone’s time by posting crappy, empty articles.
